Langban Heishoi Katpa

IMPHAL, Sep 14: Angom Ningthou Angom Amubi performed Heishoi Katpa (Tarpan) Sana Konung Uttra Shanglen Saturday.
At the event, Sana Konung Amaiba Ningthoujam Ibochou said that Heishoi Katpa was held every year by the King on first full moon day of Meitei lunar month Langban with prayers to all deaths who have no surviving children.
Langban Tarpan Katpa was also held at Nongpok Chingu Meitei Laikol Thalo Shipi Lok, Sheloi Lamaiching Yaralpat also.
