ESU beat NIVSO 1-0 in IE 1st Divn League

IMPHAL, Sep 16 : ESU, Wangkhei emerged victorious in the today's matches of the Moirangthem Ibobi Memorial 1st Division Football League tournament being organised by Imphal East District Football Association at Artificial Ground, Khuman Lampak.
ESU Wangkhei defeated NIVSO, Keibi by a slender 1-0 margin as Arif found the target in the 75th minute after the two teams spent a barren first half.
Meanwhile in the second match between NESU and UPSA was abandoned due to heavy rain. NESU were leading 2-0 thanks to Dickson (16') and Somokanta (17') before the match was stalled after 22 minutes of play.
