Chandel Super Division League: LCYCC post emphatic 6-1 win against NWYC

IMPHAL, Sep 16 : LCYCC (Liwa Changning Youth Cultural Club) thrashed New Wangparel Youth Club (NWYC) 6-1 at Kapaam ground today in the ADC Chandel Trophy 2019 Super Division League being organised under the supervision of District Sports Association Chandel. The day also saw KDC (Kapaam Development Club) win 1-0 over ULFC (United Lamkang Football Club).
LCYCC which are maintaining their unbeaten run in the 6 team league tournament were missing their form in the earlier proceedings of today's game against NWYC as the latter team seemed to have most of the possession and made the headway in the 17th minute with Rengir finding the target after a fine team work.
But, LCYCC were not ready to slip their hands off the game and it was K Ngamsha who drew level for the team during the additional time of the first half (40+1'). K Ngamsha then hit his second in the 53rd minute and overturned the lead in his team's favour and there was no looking back for the team since then as SK Bunghong sped up the pace of the game scoring twice (58', 72') to make it 4-1 past NWYC. LCYCC continued to press NYWC despite the huge lead and it was in the 79th minute that Th Milan scored the team's 5th goal before Mongampha fired home the final goal during the first minute of the stoppage time (80+1).
Meanwhile in another match, Seilenlal's goal in the 64th minute helped KDC down ULFC 1-0.
