World Alzheimer's Day observed

IMPHAL, Sep 21: Celebrating World Alzheimer's Day, women inmates of old age home opened by All Manipur Women Voluntary Association at Nongmeibung Purana Rajbari were provided aids today.
Volunteers of Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) Manipur Chapter and National Alliance for Elderly People's Livelihood Research Advocacy & Chronic Diseases of India, Manipur Chapter provided eatables and winter clothing to the inmates.
Speaking on the sideline of the event, ARDSI Manipur Chapter RK Nayansana said that World Alzheimer's Day is observed this year under the theme "Raising Awareness, Challenging Stigma."
