IMPHAL, Sep 21: The cease work strike being undertaken by the All Manipur Bulk LPG Transporters Association has completed 15 days today.
Meanwhile, CAF&PD Minister Karam Shyam held a meeting today with IOCL’s North East Integra-ted Sales Office, Guwahati DGM (LPG) Mainak Patra and IOCL officials posted at Imphal to explore a solution to the cease work strike launched since September 7.  Representatives of the All Manipur Bulk LPG Transporters Association were also present at the meeting.
However, as the meeting could not arrive at any understanding, another meet- ing has been scheduled on Monday.
Notably, the cease work strike was launched as IOCL failed to fulfil its assurance of inducting around 60 bullet TTs which did not qualify in the tender held in 2018 for requisition of bullet TTs for transportation of bulk LPG to the State.
Nonetheless, out of all the bullet TTs which qualified in the same tender, 28 TTs have been staying away from the cease work strike.
