AMWJU takes stand

IMPHAL, Sep 3: The All Manipur Working Journalists Union (AMWJU) has resolved not to seek financial aid from other sources outside the press/media fraternity for organising the 46th Foundation Day of the Union which will be held on September 16.
A statement issued by the publicity secretary of the union today mentioned that the decision was taken to ensure that seeking aid from outside the media fraternity should be avoided as much as possible.
It then appealed to the media fraternity and journalists to give every possible aid to ensure the success of the programme.
