Sougrakpam Kishan wins best physique title

IMPHAL, Sep 30: Sougrakpam Kishan of Kakching Khunou College has been crowned the best physique title of the Manipur University Inter College Body Building Championship organised by Kha-Manipur College, Kakching at its premises under the aegis of MU Sports Committee, yesterday.
In the 60 Kg category, Yumnam Hemchandra of Government Polytechnic Manipur bagged the 1st position while RK Pritamkumar of DM College of Commerce and Mayengbam Rohit of Kha Manipur College were placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Roni Moirangthem, representing NG College, clinched the 65 Kg title, followed by Samim Anwar of Manipur University and Oinam Tennyson of Manipur College with a silver and bronze medals respectively.
Robert Mayanglambam of Regional College outperformed other contestants in the 70 Kg event to clinch the title. Sh Malemnganba of Pole Star College was placed second while Maison Yambem, representing KP College took the bronze in this weight category. The 75 Kg title was grabbed by Nongthombam Sadananda of Thoubal College while the 80Kg title went to S Kishan of Kakching Khunou College.
