Manipur State Unit of Republican Party of India (A) to be opened on September 18

IMPHAL, Sep 4: The Manipur State Unit of Republican Party of India (Athawale) will be formed and officially declared on September 18 by the party’s president Ramdas Athawale here, informed RPI (A) North-East observer Vinod Nikaljee today.
Speaking to reporters at Hotel Mass, Imphal following a conference of the party held at the same venue, Vinod Nikaljee said that he is here following the direction of the party president who is also the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment to observe and work out the needful for formation of the RPI (A) units in North-East States.
Vinod Nikaljee claimed that the party is getting platform in the North East Region with large supporters turning up at events.
He conveyed that RPI (A), Manipur State Unit may have Mahes Thounaojam as its convenor.
Claiming that RPI (A) had projected a candidate in North East in the past and got massive number of votes, he expressed happiness that the party is now opening its front  in the State with people's support.
The observer also said that RPI (A) will stand against issues which may harm the people of North-East.
