1st Manipur State 7-A Side Football Tourney to be held on Oct 19 and 20

7-A Side Football Federation of Manipur and Manipur Mount will jointly organise the 1st Manipur State 7-A Side Football Tournament under the aegis of Paralympic Committee of Manipur (PCM) on October 19 and 20 at two different venues in Imphal East and Imphal West.
A press release issued by PCM informed all the District Level 7-A Side Football Associations to submit their registration form and list of players along with their disabilities certificates issued by the concerned authorities on or before October 13 for verification.
On the basis of performance in the tournament, players will be selected to attend State Level Coaching Camp to be conducted for preparation of Manipur team to participate in the forthcoming National 7-A Side Football Tournament to be held in Chhattisgarh, it added.
The statement also mentioned that Manipur team won the previous two editions of National 7-A Side Football Championship and 1st DPL held at Goa.
