DESAM questions appointment process

Questioning the appointment process of some vacant posts at KVK Thoubal, the Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has demanded the Director of Agriculture to provide a whitepaper regarding the whole appointment process at he earliest.
A statement issued by the secretary publicity and propaganda of DESAM mentioned that after due investigation by its members at KVK Thoubal, there have been rising suspicion that the vacant posts of Senior Scientists and Head, Home Science Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) and Assistant have been filled through unethical means.
If there is to be any recruitment at the KVK centre, which is under the Agriculture Department, the rules and procedures of ICAR have to be followed properly. Advertisements also have to be done at the news media and local dailies.
Demanding the Agriculture Minister and the Agri Department to clarify on the appointment/recruitment process at KVK Thoubal, DESAM demanded the Agriculture Director to provide a whitepaper regarding the recruitment process at the earliest.
DESAM further demanded the wrongs to be rectified if any and to conduct a proper, free and fair recruitment process for the centre again.
