PPCM pledges

IMPHAL, Sep 8 : Protection and Preservation Committee Manipur (PPCM) has vowed to monitor and provide every possible aid to combat the current drought faced by the State.
Speaking to media persons at PPCM office at Wahengbam Leikai today, its convenor Jeetendra Ningomba narrated that  many Meira Paibi Lups, student organisations as well as various CSOs came together to form PPCM in 2011 and till date, the organisation (PPCM) has been actively participating in various issues concerning the State and its people.
He continued that a general body meeting of PPCM constituent members was held today and new office bearers were elected and added that PPCM will focus on combating the current situation of drought.
During the meet, former convenor of the organisation Nongthombam Bimol Meitei, handed over charge of the convenor to Jeetendra Ningomba.
