Babysana JAC

IMPHAL, Sep 9: The JAC against the murder of Ningthoujam Babysana has appealed to the Chief Minister to do the needful while he is in Guwahati so that the CBI takes over Babysana's case.
A statement issued by the convenor of the JAC today mentioned that only after the CBI takes up the case, peace and normalcy will return and the issue will be resolved properly.
If the CM neglects the sentiments of the people, the protest and agitation of the JAC, which has been put on hold, will surface again, it cautioned.
On the other hand, the JAC appealed to all the people of  Thangmeiband to light a Meira/candle in front of their residences every evening starting from September 10 as a prayer for peace for Babysana's soul as well as a demand for swift justice.
