Training programme kick starts

Imphal, Jan 23: A 3-day special state-level training programme for the activists of Trade Union, being organised by Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Worker Education & Development, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) Manipur State and Rural Pioneer Services Bishnupur began yesterday at the training hall of Rural Pioneer Services, Bishnupur.
Bharatiya Kishan Sangh (BKS) New Delhi Sangathan Mantri, Dinesh Kulkarni; BMS Manipur State general-secretary L Sanatombi Devi and social worker Salam Jibon Singh graced the opening ceremony as dignitaries.
On the opening, the spokesperson persons stressed on "Problems of Agriculture Workers & Small Farmers & Solutions" and "Enhancing Income Through Horticulture" while on the second and last day, experts present will deliberated on "Social Security Schemes of Govt", "Enhancing Soil Fertility the Organic Way", "Making of Vermicompost", "Organizing the Rural Workers", "Agronomy Seed Production for Better Crops", "Income Generation Through Floriculture" and "Economic Development Through Fruit Processing", reports our correspondent.
BMS North East in-charge, N Tomba Singh; Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Worker Education & Development Imphal Regional Director, MN Salam and BMS Manipur State vice-president, Ahongsangbam PK Singh also attended the opening ceremony.
