All Manipur Nupi Marup members attend 21st National Congress of NFIW

IMPHAL, Jan 3 : Representatives/members of All Manipur Nupi Marup, who participated the 21st National Congress of National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW) at Jaipur, reaches Imphal yesterday.
The congress was attended by 503 delegates from 23 States along with over 1500 women from Rajasthan.
On the inaugural function of he 21st National Congress of NFIW, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who graced the event as the chief guest, announced the formulation of Rajasthan State Policy for Women 2019 while assuring to effectively prevent crimes against women and children and also to strive towards educating underprivileged women and making them economically stable.
Many resource persons spoke at the series of sessions organised as part of the congress. Meanwhile, Nupi Lan observation was also held apart from showcasing a Nupi lan play.
Seminar to be held
IMPHAL, Jan 3 : In connection with the 60th foundation of Naharol Sahitya Premee Samiti Imphal, a seminar on 'Manipuri Sahityada Kangjam Padmakumar' will be held on  January 5 at JNMDA Imphal.
