IMPHAL, Oct 11 : The President of India, in his capacity as the Visitor of the Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal has appointed ICAR-ATARI, Jabalpur Director Dr Anupam Mishra as the Vice-Chancellor of CAU Imphal.
The Department of Agricultural Research and Education (Establishment Section), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare issued an order to this effect on October 5.
According to the order, Dr Anupam Mishra shall hold the office of CAU Imphal Vice-Chancellor for a term of five years from the date on which he enters office or until he attains the age of 70, whichever is earlier.
