JP Narayan remembered

IMPHAL, Oct 11: The 118th birth anniversary of  Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan was observed today at Langol.
Speaking as the chief guest of the function, Lok Sabha MP Dr RK Ranjan maintained that Jayaprakash Narayan was a distinguished Indian independence activist, theorist, socialist and a political leader.    
He is popularly known as the hero of the Quit India Movement, Dr Ranjan said.
The programme was organised by the Organising Committee Jayaprakash Narayan Birthday Celebration, Langol Imphal.
