MSCW fetes O Henry

The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) today felicitated Okram Henry Singh, who recently took charge as Minister of Social Welfare & Corporation at Kombirei Conference Hall, DC Complex, Lamphelpat, said a release MSCW.
The event was followed by a prize distribution of State level online essay competition and webinar on the topic “Customary laws, alcoholism, substance abuse: A high voltage of domestic violence in North-East India”, the release said.
The ceremony was attended by various eminent personalities and winners of the easy competition. More than 100 participants from different sections of the society participated the webinar.
Various amicable solutions to reduce the crime against women was brought through an interactive session with the participants. Various recommendations are framed to inculcate with gender policy of the State, it added.
