Awareness programme held

IMPHAL, Oct 21: An awareness programme on COVID-19 and disaster management on climate change was held today at Zeikhuluang Tokpa Kabui village, Churachandpur.
The function organised by the Directorate of Civil Defense, Manipur was sponsored by the Relief and Disaster Management Department, Government of Manipur.  
Director, Relief and Disaster Management, Kh Leiyaphy Rita and former Pastor of Zeikhulong, Athui Kamei took part in the function as chief guest and president respectively.
  Dr SS Pammei, Medical Officer in charge, District Hospital, Bishnupur and  Civil Defense Instructor, Luninglu Maringmei also attended the programme.
 Kh Leiyaphy Rita stressed on the need to take precautions while interacting with people as COVID-19 can be easily spread.
