Titles bestowed to 10

IMPHAL, Oct 22
In all, ten individuals took oath to uphold the rules and regulations of Sana Konung today at Manipur Pandit Loishang's hall and were bestowed respective titles, appropriate costumes for use at cultural events of the State by Angom Ningthou Rosoraj who also handed certificates to them.
The persons who have been bestowed titles and clothings as per a release of Manipur Cheirap Loisang, Sana Konung are: Thokchom Nimai Singh as Shanglen Lakpa of Manipur Cheirap Loishang; Laitonjam Lokendro Meitei and Ngariyanbam Jiten as Pana Pandits; Ngangbam Ranjit Meetei as Maiba Hanjaba; Akoijam Premkanta and Mutum Bankimchandra Meitei as Pena Hidang of Pena Loishang; Dr Moirangthem Chaoreikanba as Aka Macha Maibi of Maibi Loishang; Yumnam Sunil as Bijiya Garot Loishang's Tuli Naha Major; Naorem Rajen Mangang as Kang Tuli Major of Bijiya Garot Loishang and Sougaijam Rahul Singh as Phiribi.
