Zeliangrong Union condoles

IMPHAL, Oct 28
The Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland), its district and regional zones, Zeliangrong Women Union, Kabui Mother's Association and Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) has condoled the demise of zonal secretary of ZU Longmai Zone, G Pouguang on October 27 at his residence at Rangkhung, Tamenglong.
G Pouguang was a young and dedicated Zeliangrong leader, said ZU (AMN) in a condolence note.
During his tenure as a zonal secretary since 2010, there was peace and tranquillity in Noney District, it said while adding that his name will always be remembered by the Zeliangrong people for his work and welfare service.
A condolence meeting was held today at ZU head office in Imphal at 1 am with Azang Rongmei, president ZU (AMN) in the chair, it said.
The ZU central executives, zonal leaders, intellectuals, well wishers and women leaders also prayed for his soul to rest in peace, it continued.
