Yarn passbooks distributed

Bishnupur, Oct 9 : KARVY Data Management Services Limited, Hyderabad and REUYDO, Kumbi jointly took the initiative today to distribute Yarn Passbooks and ID cards issued by Ministry of Textiles Government of India to around 200 beneficiaries today at Kumbi Khuga Wangma community hall.
The distribution programme was attended by Hara Kant Baro, deputy director Weaver Service Centre Porompat as the chief  guest in the presence of Khangembam Nabakumar, Ex-BJP candidate 29-Kumbi Assembly Constituency; Wahengbam Nandakeshwor Councillors Ward No 6 Kumbi Municipal Council; Ningthoukhongjam (o) Sorojini Councillors Ward No 3 Kumbi Municipal Council; Khangembam Shyam, nominee member of Kumbi Municipal Council and Bimol Kshetrimayum State co-ordinator KARVY Data Management Services as dignitaries.
Speaking at the occasion, Hara Kant Baro appealed to all weavers to work on improving quality so that the products can be sold not only at Indian markets but also at world markets.
He also highlighted the use of the passbook and benefits the weavers can get through it.
