CM pledges support

Imphal, Oct 8 (DIPR): With the launch of ‘Jan Andolan’ campaign for COVID appropriate behaviour by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N Biren Singh and others have pledged to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the State at a simple function held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat today.
The Chief Minister pledged to follow COVID appropriate behaviours and encouraged others to follow the same to combat the pandemic. The key COVID appropriate behaviours include wearing of face mask, maintaining minimum distance of 6 feet from others, washing hands frequently etc. The pledge taking function was attended by Chief Secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar, Administrative Secretaries and other high ranking officials. It may be mentioned that the ‘Jan Andolan’ campaign was launched to encourage people’s participation in fighting against COVID-19.
