RPF observes Independence Demand Day

IMPHAL, Feb 25
The proscribed RPF observed its 41st foundation day as Independence Demand Day at its central quarters, council headquarters, central bureau, SR-1, SR-2, SR-3, SR-4 and PLA’s general headquarters, tactical command, strategic command, 252 mobile battalion and different units, departments and stations.
The Independence Demand Day was also observed at divisions 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 under RPF’s central bureau, according to a press release issued by the outfit’s secretary publicity Roben Khuman.
The main features of the Independence Demand Day observation were saluting the party’s flag, paying tributes to the ‘martyrs’ who had laid down their lives in the course of the liberation movement and reading out of president Irengbam Chaoren’s message to the people.
On the occasion of its 41st foundation day, the outfit prayed for unification of all indigenous people of Manipur so that all can struggle collectively in complete harmony.
