Indo-Myanmar border sealed

MOREH, Mar 14:As a precautionary step to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus in the State, the Indo-Myanmar border has been sealed as per an order issued by Special Secretary (Home) H Gyan Prakash.
Subsequently, Tengnoupal DC M Rajkumar has also issued an order to seal all areas bordering Moreh and Myanmar.
It is reported that Indo-Myanmar Friendship Gate no 2 has been locked while 43 AR personnel restricted movements at Friendship Gate No 1 as precautinary measures. The Indo-Myanmar Friendship bridge and Immigration Office of ICP, Moreh were also closed down. The border areas were patrolled by police teams under the command of Moreh ASP (LO) Sangboi Gangte, Tengnoupal ASP (Ops) Th Krishnatombi and OC Prakash.
