KIM expresses gratitude to the people of Manipur

KANGPOKPI, Mar 21: The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) expressed its utmost and sincere thanks to all the hill based CSOs, kindred tribes leaders and valley-based as well for extending financial and moral support to the Kuki people in general and the Chassad people in particular concerning the incident in which several houses were burnt to ashes on March 16, last.
Gouminlun Gangte, secretary, information and publicity of KIM said that the apex body of the Kukis lauded the efforts and steps taken by the like-minded groups and solidarity shown by the CSOs and political parties in condemning the heinous crime committed by the NSCN(IM).
It also appreciated the timely action taken by the Government of Manipur under the able leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh and all the hills and valley-based CSOs.
KIM also makes its stand clear that it will not tolerate any sinister designs to disturb the peaceful coexistence and harmonious relationships that existed amongst the people of Manipur since times immemorial.
It further thanked the people of Manipur for their financial and moral support in rebuilding the Chassad village.
