Offices to remain closed

New Delhi, Mar 26: In compliance of the order issued on March 24 by the MHA, the Ministry of HRD has directed that all its offices and autonomous institutions & subordinate offices to remain closed for a period of 3 weeks. However, all officers and staff will be working from home as per the said order, the Ministry instructed further directing the Bureau heads and Division heads to ensure that all financial matters relating to releases, particularly salaries and pensions are cleared. The HRD ministry also directed CBSE, NIOS and NTA to work on revised schedule of exams.
Autonomous bodies and NCERT should draft alternate academic calendars, it added.
