Hand sanitizer launched

IMPHAL, Apr 10: To meet the demand for hand sanitizer in Manipur amidst coronavirus outbreak, Marjing Industries Private Limited, Imphal has launched an alcohol based herbal hand sanitizer called Marjing Hand Sanitizer. The hand sanitizer is formulated by CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology (NEIST) and supported by TMH Green Private Limited, Tokyo, Japan. It is produced from the locally available products only and launched for sale locally in Manipur, said a statement of the industry. MP Dr RK Ranjan, Manipur University Professor Amar Yumnam, retired Additional Director, Health Services Dr S Manikanta Singh,  JNIMS Dr Ningthoujam Kumarjit, MU Professor  Laishram Rajen Singh, Registrar MU Professor W Chandbabu Singh, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-NEST, Branch Laboratory, Lamphelpat Dr H Birkumar Singh and Mayanglambam Khelendro Singh, vice chairman, Marjing Industries Private Limited attended the launch of the product at the laboratory's conference hall today.
