MSCW distributes relief materials

IMPHAL, Apr 12: Amid the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Manipur State Commission for Women has distributed relief materials at many places.
Apart from distributing the relief materials, the commission officials also spread awareness about the novel coronavirus and demonstrated the effectiveness of social distancing, use of home made masks and washing hands in avoiding the virus.
The commission distributed food items to Kom community in interior parts of Senapati district. MSCW and Rural Health Organisation also distributed home-grown vegetables at Swadhar Greh, Naoremthong, Laishram Leirak.
Further, the commission in association with several universities and colleges have made hand sanitisers and distributed the same to healthcare workers, police personnel, ASHA, Anganwadi and migrant workers.
