Imphal, May 10: The Nongchup Imphal Palem Ima Apunba Lup (NIMPAL) celebrated its 5th Foundation day today.
The function was chaired by Th Iboyaima, with other dignitaries. S Shantileima, secretary NIMPAL expressed regret in not being able to conduct the function with its branches and units together due to the imposition of COVID-19 inflicted lockdown.
It may be noted that NIMPAL has conducted many awareness programmes on the theme 'Impact of drug abuse in our society' from last year till date.

Moreh, May 10: Community Health Officer, K Yaiphabi with assistance of staff of the Health and Wellness Centre (HWC), Kwatha village organised an immunization programme at Kwatha and Kwatha Khunou villages.
Children under one year were given immunization drops, while free malaria and sugar test were conducted for senior citizens, it informed. K Yaiphabi also distributed face masks and foodgrains to help the villagers during the COVID-19 induced lockdown.
