H applauds CSOs

IMPHAL, May 2: Federation of Haomee has applauded valley-based CSOs such as United Committee Manipur (UCM), All Manipur United Club's Organisation (AMUCO) and International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) for helping hill people amid the Nationwide lockdown.
In this regard, a press release issued by the federation said that such an act by the CSOs will have an everlasting impact on the brotherly relation between hill and valley people.
It also lauded people residing in the hill for receiving the help ardently.
Recalling that many tribal populace also donated vegetables for the valley people to show solidarity, it expressed happiness that Tangkhul Baptist Church Goa and Tangkhul Welfare Association Goa had helped six meitei/meetei families in Goa.
A misunderstanding between hill and valley people that prevail for over 300 years has been cleared today, with both helping each other at such crucial juncture, it lamented.
