CPI greets

IMPHAL, May 22
Communist Party of India Manipur State Council has extended greetings to all Muslim community in the State on the eve of Eid-Ul-Fitr which falls on May 25.
CPI, in a statement, lauded the Muslim brothers for their dedication and observation of Roja (fasting) for almost a month amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by limiting numbers of worshippers at mosques, observing mostly at homes and indulging in social distancing and other safety measures.
CPI while praising the Muslim community for carefully celebrating the month of Ramadan, urged them to hold Iftar parties (evening meal to mark the end of fasting) in the simplest manner and with safety measures in the mind as the COVID-19 threats still loom large.
