KCA condemns

IMPHAL, May 27 : The Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA), Tengnoupal has condemned 'the police personnel who were caught red-handed transporting Myanmarese goods at Bongjang by a team of 18 Assam Riffles and district police.'
A press release issued by KCA said that the association was  hopeful of working alongside the police commandos of Moreh  to strictly monitor the situation, however, 'it turned out that they  were scheming to carry out unlawful activities.'
The impunity with which they have acted is a stark reminder that the personnel themselves can be agents of the virus, KCA asserted.
Urging the State Government to initiate a proceeding to award exemplary punishment to all the personnel involved, KCA also pleaded the State Government for removal of police commandos from Moreh.
