MAC clarifies

TORONTO (CANADA), May 27
Regarding a news item published on Sunday May 24 issue of this newspaper, Manipuri Association of Canada has clarified that the press statement was not released by it and that the article is in anyway related to MAC. Manipuris in Canada are safe and there is no news of anyone being infected by COVID-19 virus. "However, we are also suffering just like any other Canadians because of the lockdown and other measures taken up by the Government," said MAC in a statement issued yesterday by its president Nilkumar Naorem and secretary Dolendra Rajkumar.
