IMPHAL, May 4 : Three young lads from Manipur including a minor boy of 16 are presently stranded at Amritsar, Punjab, caught in the Nationwide lockdown that came into effect from March 25. While two of them are from Kumbi Assembly Constituency, the 16 year old boy is from Kakching.
The two seniors are identified as Khwairakpam Bungnao Meitei of Wangoo Naodangkhong Awang Leikai and M Malem Meitei of Terakhong Mayai Leikai, Wangoo Ahallup while the minor from Kakching is identified as Mayanglambam Rahul Singh of Kakching Wairi Ningthou Pareng Khullakpam Leikai.
They were all working as tailors at Amritsar, but since the Nationwide lockdown their shops have remained shut.
The stranded lads said that they are yet to receive any help from the Government of Manipur.
