1 croreth beneficiary of Ayushman Bharat from Ri Bhoi felicitated

Shillong, Jun 26: Pooja Thapa, a resident of Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya was felicitated as the 1 croreth beneficiary of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in India.
Thapa was felicitated by the Meghalaya State BJP and District BJP from Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya.
The State BJP and District BJP from Ri Bhoi district led by its state President, Ernest Mawrie felicitated Pooja Thapa at her residence at Umsaitsning undeer Ri Bhoi district. It may be noted that Pooja Thapa, is the resident of Umsaitsning in Ri Bhoi District and a housewife with two children. As the wife of a soldier, she had to undergo surgery to remove a ureteral stone. Being a beneficiary of the Aushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Yojna she received help under this scheme for this medical procedure.
Recently, she was also called by the PM  Modi in which the audio clip was shared by the PM where Thapa said that her health is now stable after receiving treatment at Nazareth Hospital, Shillong.
Meanwhile, the State BJP of Meghalaya and the District BJP from Ri Bhoi have expressed their gratitude to PM Modi for introducing the health insurance scheme which has been benefited by the poor in the country.
The felicitation programme headed by state BJP, Arnest Mawrie were also attended by BJP state Mahila President, B Thabah, BJP State Secretary, Marian Maring, BJP District, President, Rev. P W Pnar, BJP State Vice President Kissan Morcha, P S Toor and others members of BJP from Ri Bhoi district.
After availing the benefits of the scheme, Pooja Thapa expressed her gratitude to the Central government for coming up with the scheme and said that such health schemes will benefit the poor and the underprivileged families in the country.
