A team of MMWO led by its president Abdullah Phundreimayum visited Ph Firoj at his residence at Mayang Imphal Bengoon.
Abdullah Phundreimayum said it is a good sign that the pass percentage in Government schools are rising.
He said the current trend of parents opting for private schools over Government schools is making many poor parents suffer big financial burden.
He appealed to the Education Minister and the department concerned to provide the needed infrastructure, staff and teachers in Government schools so that parents do not have to opt for private schools.
