NEW DELHI, Jul 26 (PIB) : During his 67th Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the artisans of Tripura, Manipur and Assam have started crafting high quality water bottles and tiffin-boxes using bamboos, which grow abundantly in the North-East States.
PM said that on a glance at the craftsmanship of these artisans, one will not believe that bamboos can be used to create such fine products. Moreover, these products are eco-friendly. Before making them (products), the bamboo is first boiled, adding neem and other medicinal shrubs, he said.
