Moreh ADC inspects PHC

MOREH, Jul 31: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Moreh, L Manikanta inspected the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Moreh today, where regular health services is being provided to the people of Moreh.
After a COVID Care Centre was set up in the Moreh Hospital, regular health services and check-ups were moved to the Moreh PHC.
During the inspection, the Medical Officer in-charge of PHC Moreh, Dr Kh Santikumar apprised the ADC that regular/normal health services have commenced in the PHC although certain obstacles are being faced by the staff and patients.
Dr Santikumar further informed that there are only two working doctors handling all the patients and requested that more doctors be transferred to the centre to aid them.
Further, due to the social distancing norm, the sitting spaces allotted for patients are limited which is causing inconvenience to the patients who sometimes have to wait for hours.
The ADC paying undivided attention to the MO in-charge acknowledged the problems and assured that the same will be put forth to the DC Moreh.
