Disburse fund, says ATRPFM

IMPHAL, Sep 11: The All Tribal Rights’ Protection Forum Manipur (ATRPFM) has appealed to the State Government and the concerned authorities of TA & Hills to disburse or transfer the fund to the beneficiaries under family oriented schemes and scholarships for ST students for the financial years of 2018-19 and 2019-20.
A press release issued by ATRPFM said that the funds for 2018-19 have been partly disbursed to some beneficiaries but there are still many beneficiaries who have not received the said funds till date.
It is highly uncalled for on the part of the State Government and the concerned authorities of TA & Hills to withhold the scholarships of the students for such a long months and also diverted the funds of family oriented schemes and failed to disburse and transfer to the beneficiaries account till date, said the forum.
Since some officials concerned are playing games with the funds of the TA & Hills, ATRPFM would no longer remain silent, it said cautioning that the forum would take their course of action if the Government and the concerned authorities of TA & Hills fail to discharge their duties this month.
