Club appeals

IMPHAL, Sep 21 : The SDA Lilong Uku club has appealed to the people to approach the authorities concerned in case of a power cut in one's home. Following an incident on September 19 wherein some persons, due to a power cut at their own home, tried to fix the transformer which in turn led to a power cut in the locality, the club has appealed to the people to not let the incident repeat.
Secretary of the club, MM Mustakim informed the people that in case the incident is repeated the involved persons would have to deal with the consequences themselves.
Moreover, in the continued war against drug use, the club pulled up 32 juveniles. Seven of them have been admitted to a rehabilitation centre where they are receiving treatment while the rest have been handed over to their families.
The club also condoled the untimely demise of Senior Advocate Md Ismail Khan and requested the people to support the club in its future endeavours.
