Former IMC Chairperson continues charitable work

IMPHAL, Sep 23 : Executive Member of BJP State unit and former Chairperson of Imphal Municipal Corporation, RK Ranisana continued her charitable work in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic by distributing relief items to around 80 households at Nagamapal Singjubung Leirak today.
The relief items consisting mainly of edibles were distributed in association with local club following the detection of COVID-19 cases in the locality.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranisana said that she was doing whatever she can to help the people as  COVID-19 situation persists in the State and assured of similar relief work in the future.
She also appealed all to strictly follow SOPs issued by the Government.
In the meantime, Khundrakpam AC MLA Th Lokeshor also reached out to 11 families within the containment zone announced at Chingarel Tejpur today with edible items in view of the hardships faced by the locals due to the announcement.
