NSCN (IM) briefs

IMPHAL, Sep 24: A team of NSCN members briefed Sumi Civil Society leaders on the ongoing Indo-Naga political talks during a meeting held today at Poghuboto under Sumi Region.
A press release issued by NSCN/GPRN said that the people of the area (Poghuboto ) resolved to fully support the Indo-Naga political solution that is honorable and acceptable, ie inclusion of Naga flag and Yehzabo (Constitution).
A team representing NSCN included Maj (Retd) Hutovi Chishi, Convener, Steering Committee;  Kihoi Swu, Convener, CFMC (Cease Fire Monitoring Cell); Ikato Chishi Swu, general secretary, CNC (Council of Nagalim Churches);  Pasheto Chishi Swu, caretaker, Sumi Region and chairperson, NSWON (National Socialist Women’s Organization of Nagalim), Sumi Region and the civil society groups present in the meeting were Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho; Aphuyemi Kukami Hoho; Aphuyemi Totimi Hoho; Aphuyemi Students Union.
