Two held

IMPHAL, Jan 10: A team of NAB personnel arrested two persons namely Md Abas Khan (32) of Thoudam Irong Thokchom and Md Arab Ali (41) of Moijing Awang Leikai from Irong Khunou IVR in Thoubal district yesterday and sexized items used in producing brown sugar.
The team also recovered three gunny sacks of processed opium for extracting brown sugar weighing about 84 kilograms, weighing equipment, two plastic bags containing lime etc, from their possession.
A case has been registered with NAB PS for investigation, said a statement.
