Organic oranges

IMPHAL, Jan 11: Organic oranges grown by farmers of Pherzawl district were made available at a discounted rate at Sanjenthong's organic outlet today.
This initiative taken up by Manipur Agro Producers and Development Cooperative Society under Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) aims at promoting organic farming.
Today's promotional sale was opened by Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl district, Mannuamching.
Free samples were given to buyers.
At the event, the DC encouraged the farmers to practise organic farming in the years to come.
It is reported that the sale will continue till tomorrow.
