Dzuko raging fire brought under control, says Senapati DC Kirankumar

SENAPATI, Jan 12 : With immediate intervention and actions of all stakeholders and volunteers, the wildfire at Dzuko and Mount Iso has been put under control.
The leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh along with PHE Minister Losii Dikho and Deputy Commissioner of Senapati Kirankumar has been lauded by many for their timely intervention.
Kirankumar stated that the Dzuko Valley wildfire has been brought under control but some firefighters & State forces will still be deployed in the area to curb any new wildfire issues.
It may be mentioned that the DC has been stationed at Mao to monitor and supervise the whole operation in close collaboration with the local Minister, SDOs, police, NDRF, jawans, fire fighters, IAF, SDRF, Mao Council, village volunteers, organizations and forest officials soon after the fire erupted on December 29.
Recently, CM N Biren also announced that construction work for a road to Dzuko valley has started where a camp for State forces is likely to be established soon to protect the area from any natural disaster.
