AMOFA Academy mourns

IMPHAL, Jan 22: AMOFA Academy, Moirang has deeply condoled the sudden demise of coach Ngangkham Bitan Singh on January 20, almost a week after he was seriously injured in a road mishap.
AMOFA Academy, yesterday convened a condolence meeting at the academy's office and members present observed two minutes silence  in honour of the late football coach Bitan from Khurai Konsam Leikai who was a well wisher of the Academy, said a statement of the Academy. The contributions of the late coach and his works towards tapping and grooming young football players were fondly remembered during the condolence meeting, it said. The academy also shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
