CCpur, Jan 22: Churachandpur police today arrested one more suspect in the January 12 Kanaan Veng murder case.
Jimmy Thangsonlal of Bungmual was found in a pool of blood inside a private residence at Trinity Road, Kanaan Veng on January 12.
The Churachandpur police while pursuing the case had arrested one Paukhankhual S/O Kaichinpau of Kanaan Veng in the past and revealed the reported involvement of three others.
Yesterday the police again arrested another person identified as Thangzamuan Tombing S/O T Nengthang of Dorcas Veng, New Lamka and booked him under FIR No.05(01)2021 CCP-PS u/s 302/34 IPC read with 120-B IPC, 25(1-C) Arms Act & 212 IPC.
Sources said further investigation is on.
