Labour Minister inspects ITI

Imphal, Jan 4 : Labour Minister Th Satyabrata Singh and MLA Heikham Dingo inspected the newly constructed Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Sekmai campus which is due to be inaugurated on January 7, 2021.
S Ibochouba Singh, Joint Director, Manipur Society for Skill Development;  Brojen, Chief Engineer, Manipur Tribal Development Corporation; Amarjit Raj Kumar, Assistant Program Officer, officials of the engineering cell and other related staff were present during the inspection, said a statement issued by DIPR.
The Minister also made a survey of the infrastructure and other facilities at the institute during the visit, added the statement.
The newly set up ITI units are located at Sekmai and Kangpokpi which will be able to provide the latest job-oriented course and skill training to the students, further added the statement.
