Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur's calendar released

IMPHAL, Jan 5
Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur, released the annual calendar for the year 2021 at its office in Sega road Thouda Bhabok Leikai, Imphal, today.
Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba, Thokchom Satyabrata Singh, Minister CAF&PD and Kshetrigao AC MLA and Shree Shree Govindajee Temple board Imphal Vice chairman Nahakpam Indrajit Singh attended the programme as presidium members.
 Addressing the programme, Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba expressed his appreciation to the Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur for publishing the annual calendar with the details of all the important dates and days for the year 2021.
He further added that he will extend all possible cooperation and support to the Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur, in its endeavours.
Kshetrigao AC MLA Nahakpam Indrajit Singh also mentioned the role played by the foundation in preserving the Nata Sankirtana introduced during the reign of Rajarshi Bhagyachandra.
It is the responsibility of the present generation to preserve the cultural heritage of the State, he added.
As a part of the programme, the Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation Manipur also feted the Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba, Thokchom Satyabrata Singh, Minister CAF& PD and Kshetrigao AC MLA Nahakpam Indrajit Singh by offering a cultural shawl (Lengyan Phi).
