M Binod lauds BJP Govt, takes dig at Sugnu AC MLA

KAKCHING, Oct 23: Intending candidate of Sugnu AC, Mayanglambam Binod has lauded the BJP led Government for undertaking several initiatives for the welfare of the State.
The introduction of the ILP system for the benefit of the indigenous population of Manipur and the renaming of Mt Harriet in Andaman & Nicobar Islands as Mt Manipur are clear proofs of their dedication to a prosperous Manipur, said M Binod during a felicitation ceremony held on Saturday at BJP Sugnu Mandal office, Sugnu Keithel.
It would be better to cast votes for BJP instead of wasting votes on an MLA who does nothing for the improvement of Sugnu AC, M Binod added, taking a dig at the sitting MLA.
He commended both PM Narendra Modi and CM N Biren Singh for their welfare schemes and developmental works and held their efforts responsible for the surge in support for BJP.
Further, taking potshots at the incumbent MLA of Sugnu AC for failing to develop any aspect of Sugnu AC, M Binod claimed that if he were to emerge victorious in the upcoming Assembly election, he would bring the entire Sugnu AC towards a path of progress and development within a year or two.
